Why do we need to fill our bodies with greens? Well for starters, greens are high in calcium, magnesium, potassium, and Vitamins A, C, and K. They have tons of fiber, folic acid and chlorophyll. When you are nourishing your body with greens, you are naturally crowding out the foods that don't make you feel well.


There are many benefits to eating dark leafy greens. Some of these benefits include:

  • Wild greens - green cabbage, arugula, endive, chicory, lettuce, mesclun

  • Eat in moderation - spinach, swiss chard, beet greens
