Vegan Black Bean Burgers

Yields: 4 Burgers
Ingredients:
1 flax egg (3 tbsp water & 1 tbsp ground flax)
1/4 cup chopped sautéed mushrooms and onions
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 15 ounce can of black beans
1/3 cup oat flour (I used Almond flour, but you can use any kind)
Directions:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat with olive oil
Strain and rinse the black beans and add to a large bowl, mashing with a fork or a potato masher
Add the flax egg, mushrooms, onions, minced garlic, spices, and oat flour to the bowl and mix everything together
Form into 4 patties and cook over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes on each side
Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
